Band looking for bassist
We’re three guys in our late 20s / early 30s (drums, guitar, guitar + vocals) starting a band and looking for a bassist.
We’re currently working on a set of covers in the alternative / grunge / nu metal / post-hardcore / heavy rock area, with a mix of 90s/00s influences and some more modern indie/post-punk elements. So far we’ve been playing Alice in Chains, Deftones and Nirvana, and we’re looking to build from there.
The idea is to start with covers, eventually write our own stuff and start playing local gigs before too long.
We’re not too concerned about everyone being at the exact same skill level. Good chemistry, a shared taste in music, regular practice and the motivation to actually do something with the band matter more to us.
